  2. Make ready 1 cup mustard oil

  6. Prepare 2 tbsp red Chile powder
  7. Take 1 tbsp kashmiri red Chile powder (for colour)
  8. Take 2 tbsp ginger julian
  9. Take 1 tbsp mustard seeds
  10. Prepare 1 tbsp methi seeds
  11. Take 1/2 teaspoon awjin
  12. Take 1 teaspoon sauf
  13. Take 1/4 teaspoon hing
  14. Take 2 cup vinegar

Store mango pickle in a glass or ceramic jar. Do not use plastic jars for storing pickles, the taste of the pickle changes and it is unhealthy to use. Ingredients for Grated Mango Garlic Pickle Recipe. Place grated mangoes, red chilli powder and salt in a bowl and mix well.

  1. First gratte the mango. Add the ginger Julian (rough Julian not fine one). In a bowl take the gratted mango add salt, mustard and sauf powder,turmeric, red Chile and kashmiri chilli powder. Mix them well
  2. Now in a kadai add mustard oil. When it hot add the mustard seeds when it splatters put off the flame add the methi, sauf, hing and awjin. Now add the hot oil to the gratted mango. Mix them well. Now add 2 cup of vinegar as preservative. Now keep it cover in a vessel for 2 days. On the 3 Rd day put it in a clean dry jar. Or you can keep it in the sun also.

Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and allow them to splutter. Grated Raw mango is cooked and seasoned with chili powder, salt & sesame oil. Keeping that in mind, I have made this spicy and mouth-watering Mangai Thokku (grated Raw Mango Pickle). Mangai Thokku is made using grated Raw Mango.
