- Heat a pan, add rhubarb, 2 tbsp sugar, lemon juice stir well, cook on low heat till rhubarb soft and take off from heat.
- With cake mould, lined with baking paper, place white bread underneat, brush sugar syrup, then add cream
- Place watermelon then add more cream, then cover with white bread add brush with sugar syrup and cream
- Top with rhubarb compote
This recipe was originally published in May. I've made a rhubarb cake at one point in my life, but typically it's not a go to ingredient in my kitchen. If you've never tasted rhubarb, it's hard to actually I've actually heard of people eating rhubarb raw with salt. However, I am a lover of salt on watermelon, so who am I to judge. Frost slice and wedges with a thin layer of remaining white frosting.
