- Prepare 8 Almonds
- Take 1 tbsp Fennel seeds
- Prepare 1 tsp Black pepper

- Take 1 tsp Muskmelon seeds
- Get 2 glass Milk
- Take 2 tbsp Sugar
- Get 1 tsp Elaichi pdr

- Sabja seeds.
- Soak sabja seeds for overnight they will swell 10 times.
- Almonds, fennel seeds, poppy seeds,black pepper should also be soaked overnight.
- Grind almonds with other ingredients to a fine paste.
- Now mix almond paste in milk and add sugar too.
- Blend well.
- Add soaked sabja seeds. Mix well.
- Garnish with fried almonds juliens and strawberry syrup.
- Chill for an hour and serve and have it.
I always thought basil seeds / sabja seeds as a falooda seed. I always wanted to add those in my falooda recipe, but couldn't find it in my super markets. Sabja seeds also known as Basil seeds or Tukmaria or falooda seeds. These are the seeds of sweet basil aka Thai Holy Basil. This Thai holy basil is different than Tulsi or Holy basil that we all Indians have in their garden.
