Instructions to make Millet and green gram dosa:
- Soak Green gram, mong daal and millet for whole night or 6 hours.
- Green gram gives different taste because it has outer covering and mong daal gives different. Can use both or either of two. Of course both are same but whole gram is more nutritious.
- Grind to a smooth paste. Grind coconut to smooth paste. Add besan and salt mix well. Add chopped onions, chilli and coriander leaves mix and keep it for 30min.
- Spread batter on heated tawa. Cover lid cook for 30sec add ghee or oil flip dosa cook for 20sec.
- Enjoy with chutney.
- Can also prepare with out adding onions and chilli
It is a no rice, green gram + Urad dal dosa ( Pachai Payaru dosai in Tamil) recipe and it cannot be made instantly. Its batter should be fermented overnight like our usual idli,dosa batter.
