- Make ready 250 gms raw mango washed and roughly chopped
- Prepare 1/2 tablespoon oil
- Prepare 1/2 tablespoon cumin seeds
- Take 2 pinches asafoetida
- Get 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- Get 1/4 cup jaggery
- Get to taste Salt according
- Prepare 1 cup water

Instructions to make Raw mango sweet and sour chutney:
- First wash, rinse, peel the skin of raw mango and roughly chop the raw mango and keep aside. Keep all the ingredients ready.
- Take a pan or kadhai, add oil, as it heats add cumin seeds, once it crackle add 2 pinches asafoetida.
- Then add raw mango,saute it for 3 to 4 minutes on medium heat. Then add red chilli powder, salt,jaggery and water.
- And mix it all well nicely.
- Let it cook on medium to high heat. Keep stirring in between.
- Cook till mango becomes softened and water is reduced completely.
- The consistency of chutney will be thicker. Once done switch off the heat. It's ready to be served with paratha,puri etc.
- Once cool down store in glass containers in refrigerator. Can stay for longer period of time.
